In September, inflation experienced a slight increase, with the annual rate reaching 2.4%. This uptick, driven significantly by a 0.4% rise in food prices, has impacted various facets of the economy. Notably, food-away-from-home prices surged by 3.9% year-over-year, signaling a notable increase in consumer spending on dining out experiences. Conversely, food-at-home prices also saw a rise, albeit at a lower rate of 1.3% year-over-year.
