Membership Terms
These Membership Terms govern participation in the Restaurant Association's membership program. By creating an account, becoming a member, renewing your membership, or using any member benefits or services, you agree to these terms. Our goal is to provide a professional community that supports restaurant owners, operators, managers, educators, suppliers, and other hospitality professionals while maintaining a respectful and trusted environment for everyone.
Membership Eligibility
Restaurant Association membership is available to qualified individuals and organizations involved in or supporting the restaurant and hospitality industry. Certain membership programs may have eligibility requirements based on profession, organization type, education status, or other criteria. The Restaurant Association reserves the right to verify eligibility, request additional information when necessary, and determine the appropriate membership category.
Membership Benefits
Membership benefits may include access to exclusive articles, research reports, industry resources, educational content, webinars, networking opportunities, newsletters, job posting capabilities, discounts from participating partners, and other services offered by Restaurant Association.
Benefits may vary depending on membership type and may change over time as new programs and services are introduced. While we continually work to expand member value, Restaurant Association reserves the right to modify, add, or discontinue specific benefits as our programs evolve.
Member Responsibilities
Members are expected to provide accurate and current account information and to maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials. Membership is intended for the registered individual or organization and may not be transferred, shared, or used by unauthorized parties.
Members are also expected to comply with the Restaurant Association Code of Ethics, Community Guidelines, and all applicable policies while participating in Association programs, events, forums, and online services.
Appropriate Use of Membership
Membership benefits, directories, educational resources, downloadable materials, and other Association services are provided for legitimate professional use. Members may not misuse Association resources, harvest member information, distribute copyrighted materials without permission, or use Restaurant Association branding in a manner that implies endorsement without prior written authorization.
Suspension or Termination
Restaurant Association reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for violations of these Membership Terms, the Code of Ethics, Community Guidelines, applicable laws, or other policies governing participation in the Association. Examples include providing false information, fraudulent activity, misuse of member benefits, harassment of other members, or unauthorized commercial use of Association resources.
Where appropriate, Restaurant Association may investigate reported concerns and provide members an opportunity to respond before determining appropriate action.
Membership Fees
Some membership programs may require payment of membership dues or subscription fees, while others may be offered at no cost or through promotional programs. Applicable pricing, renewal terms, and benefits will be presented during the registration or renewal process.
Unless otherwise stated, membership fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or in cases of administrative error.
Communications
By becoming a member, you agree to receive communications related to your membership, including account notifications, newsletters, event announcements, educational updates, and information about Association programs. Members may manage their communication preferences at any time, although certain administrative or account-related communications cannot be disabled.
Privacy
Restaurant Association respects the privacy of its members. Personal information is collected, stored, and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell member personal information. Information may be used to administer membership, provide requested services, improve our programs, communicate relevant updates, and facilitate participation in Association activities.
Changes to Membership Terms
Restaurant Association may update these Membership Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our programs, services, legal requirements, or business practices. The effective date of the current version will be posted at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate member communications when required.
Continued use of membership benefits after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes.
